What does a product configurator do?

For a manufacturer selling configurable products, most of the quoting effort goes into questions about sizes, compatibility and price. A rule-based 3D configurator answers them while the customer is choosing: impossible combinations cannot be selected, out-of-range sizes are corrected, and the price and bill of materials are recalculated on every change.

The four demos on this page come from different industries and share one platform: products that need an area and layout (pallet racking, glass balcony, kitchen cabinets) and a single-item studio product (interior door).

Dimensions, rules and prices are research-based sample values. Your own configurator uses your product catalogue, production rules, price list and quote template.

What is in the demos?

  • Rule engine: options narrow each other down; a violated rule is shown with its message and source.
  • Area and layout: draw the floor or upload a DXF; columns, zones, doors and windows are taken into account.
  • Priced bill of materials and PDF: a quote with plan, technical views and line-by-line prices.
  • Sharing and 3D: projects are shared by short link; the model downloads as GLB and opens in AR on iPhone and iPad.
  • Turkish and English interface, undo / redo, saved projects.
