Capybara World – Privacy Policy

In short: Capybara World does not ask for, collect or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no chat and no location tracking. Game progress stays on the device. Ads come from Kidoz, a kid-safe network that shows only contextual (non-personalised) ads.

Children's privacy
Capybara World is a game for children and families, played together on the same device. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its rules for children, and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else:
- no sign-up or account, and we never ask for a name, age, e-mail address or photo;
- no chat, messaging, social features or user-generated content;
- no location data, contacts, camera or microphone access;
- no analytics or tracking tools in the game, and no advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID) is used.
Information stored on the device
To remember game progress, the app saves the following only on the device: stars earned, costumes and stickers, sound and music settings, and whether "Remove Ads" has been purchased. This information is not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.
Advertising
The free version may show a full-screen ad between matches, never during play. Ads are provided by Kidoz, an advertising network built for children's apps and designed to comply with COPPA and GDPR. Kidoz shows contextual ads only: ads are not based on a child's behaviour or interests, and there is no remarketing. To deliver an ad and prevent fraud, Kidoz receives limited technical information such as the device type, operating system, app identifier and approximate country (derived from the IP address). Kidoz also records how its ads are viewed and tapped in order to measure them; this information is not linked to the player and is not used for tracking. Please see the Kidoz privacy policy for details. No ads are shown after "Remove Ads" is purchased.
In-app purchases and parental gate
The game offers one optional purchase, "Remove Ads". Purchases, restoring purchases and redeeming codes are behind a parental gate (a question only a grown-up can answer). Payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we do not receive payment or account details.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because we do not collect any.
Parents' rights
Since we do not hold personal information, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Data saved on the device can be removed by deleting the app. If you have any question about your child's privacy, please contact us at [email protected] and we will answer promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
